Hello, I'm Sue and I'm the Consultant at Slimming World Cafe Unity in Heald Green. I joined Slimming World as a member in February 2015 after being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. Slimming World changed my life when I realised I could eat well and socialise and lose weight. It helped me to take back control of my eating habits, encouraged me to become more active again and supported me in group when I needed it most. After losing 5 stone, my Type 2 diabetes was in remission and I decided I wanted to help other people like me, who wanted to lose weight and become the healthiest version of themselves.
