Tina at Christ Church

Hi everyone! I’m Tina. I joined Slimming World around 10yrs ago at 5.7 stone overweight. I was suffering from terrible joint pains and referred to a Consultant because of it. Whilst sitting in the waiting room I decided that if I tried to lose some weight, I’ll maybe take some pressure off those joints and I’d feel a whole lot better! I found my local Slimming World group, though anxious, as I didn’t know anyone or about the Slimming World plan either. Inside the room I got a lovely friendly warm welcome from my Consultant and the members and felt I was in the right place immediately. It took some time for me but I did it! By 2019 I became a target member. Joining was my best decision and becoming a Consultant myself is simply magic!
