Dean at Youth Community Initiative

I first joined Slimming World as a member in 2010 with my late husband, Gary, in preparation for our wedding on 30 July, 2011. I initially weighed 13st 2lb, something that I'm working on getting back to today after rejoining again in 2018/19. I haven't had things easy for the past couple of years, but the one constant I have had is my Slimming World group that has literally saved my life and I owe so much to the group and my amazing Consultant, Jo. Food Optimising has become a way of life and I'm so glad I went to the opportunity event that my Consultant told the group about. I started my own group as a Consultant on 1st November 2022 and I haven't looked back since. I just love seeing my members each week and celebrate their losses.
