I had always thought I was a size 14 but when my work trousers were so tight I'd drive home with the top button undone I knew I needed to do something. The turning point was trying on a size 14 top to wear to go out for my daughter's 14th birthday, I couldn't fasten it and the size 16 I did buy was so tight it went back. The jeans I thought would be ok to go with it also barely fastened! I joined a new local group the very next week and in just 16 weeks lost 1 stone 6lb to get to my target weight and I have been there ever since! I spent my 30s feeling overweight but have loved every minute of my 40s! Opening my first group in January 2013 was a dream come true, I love helping my members lose weight and feel amazing.
