On the 2nd Jan 2014 I was due for a dress fitting for my wedding in 6 weeks. I jokingly said to the sales assistant “hopefully it can be taken out” and in a tone of disgust she began to berate me for putting weight on, knowing I had the fitting for this expensive dress 😥 I had never felt so humiliated than on that day. I left the shop, looked up the local Slimming World and joined the following day! Fast forward 6 weeks - 💯 per cent Food Optimising, not feeling deprived of all the food I love to eat, the dress then had to be altered 3 times (in the best possible way) and I felt a million dollars 👰 To show someone empathy and support their journey is why I became a Consultant not to humiliate them.
