Why did I wait so long? I was very stubborn and although I knew deep down I needed help I went on for years, too proud to admit it and believing I could do it on my own. Eventually I joined my local group thinking I would just go along, get the eating plan, leave and do it alone. I was so welcome and valued I stayed that night and have done ever since. I have made lifelong friends - we support each other and laugh and cry together. I reached my target weight 18 months later. Slimming World changed my life, gave me back my confidence and allowed me to make new life/career choices. I am so totally in love with it and all the benefits it brings I became a Consultant. My group is an amazing/fun/caring/loving/supportive/crazy place to be.
