I joined Slimming World in 2014 after finding myself in the humiliating position of getting stuck on a platform lift and being told by the engineer that I was too fat for the lift limit. I was a size 24/26 now I've I lost 10 stone and have maintained it it for 7+ years. The plan works! The Group I first joined was inspiring, no humiliation, no judgement just support and understanding from people who faced the same struggles. Wheeling into that Group alone, ashamed, was the hardest thing I have ever done but also the best. I love Slimming World! The Food Optimising plan has given me back my life and after seeing my success both my brother and mother are target members. I aim to inspire others in my own Group to succeed in their dreams.
