Hey, I'm Alyson, a Slimming World Consultant with 5 years' experience. Having lost my sister suddenly in September 2017 I realised I had spent enough time putting my life on hold. I suffered with high blood pressure which increased my chances of having a stroke plus being overweight was increasing the risk. With the help of my local group I lost over 4.5 stones which not only gave me my confidence back but it brought me a whole new career. Covid hit and I gained over 3 stone (I can eat my emotions!). In 2023 I made some changes and have lost 2.5 stone so I truly understand the misery of being overweight and being unhealthy.
