After many operations and treatments, I found comfort in food, my weight soon crept on. I lost confidence and withdrew from my usual happy social self-choosing to hide away instead. Then I found Slimming World. Within weeks I was losing weight enjoying cooking and meeting new friends. I achieved Slimmer of the Week for 3 weeks running as well as winning Slimmer of the Month. I was so proud of myself and my new gained confidence. I encouraged my Dad to join and between us we have lost over 5 stones.
