I joined Slimming World myself in January 2015 after seeing a shocking picture of myself on Facebook. I was so nervous to walk in the door on that first day but found the group so welcoming and to this day I class them as my friends. I soon learned all about cooking the foods I enjoy the Slimming World way and the weight began to drop off. It took me 13 months to get to target weight with a loss of just over 5.5 stone. Winning awards on the way from Miss Sleek 2015, Greatest Loser 2016 and being nominated for Woman of the Year 2015.
