I joined Slimming World as a member 14 years ago after being taken to hospital with heart problems, where I was told I would need a pacemaker and would need to lose 7 stones if I wanted to survive. In a state of shock I joined my nearest group, where with Slimming World's Food Optimising and the help and support of everyone in the group I lost my 7 stones and can now lead a normal life. I became a Consultant so that I could help and inspire as many people as I can in the same way I was helped. I now run 4 groups - 2 in Chatteris, 1 in Sutton and 1 in Cottenhan. You can be assured of a very warm welcome at any of these groups.
