I joined Slimming World in 2014 after unsuccessfully trying so many other ways to lose weigh. I was very nervous as I'd never done anything like this before but soon realised I was in the right place and felt so welcome, everybody was so friendly. Sceptical that it wouldn't work as I'd tried so many things before, I was blown away losing 7lb in my first week. That was it - I was hooked and went on to loose 3 & 1/2 stone and I'm still a member now. Slimming World has changed my life in so many ways, improving my health and my confidence, enabling me to now be a Consultant and help others feel the way I do.
