I joined Slimming World in January 2011 after my daughter told me the great news that she was getting married in August that same year. I had 3st 7lbs to lose and just seven months to do it. I walked in to my group full of trepidation but it turns out I needn't have worried. The members were very welcoming and supportive. I reached my target in time for the wedding; I had really enjoyed my journey and loved my Slimming World family.
