Matcha latte recipe

Tip: For some added sweetness, add 1 level tbsp honey to the matcha powder for 1 Syn.
What you need:
1 level tsp matcha powder (widely available online and in health-food stores, if you struggle to find it in your local supermarket)
200ml semi-skimmed milk
What you do:
1. In a mug, mix the matcha powder with 1 tbsp of just-boiled water to form a paste.
2. Warm the milk, and froth (with a whisk or milk frother) until foamy. Pour the milk into the matcha.

Iced strawberry matcha latte recipe
serves 1
7½ Syns per serving (deduct 6 Syns if having the milk as your Healthy Extra ‘a’ choice)
ready in 15 mins

What you need:
50g strawberries
1 level tbsp sweetener
1 level tsp matcha powder
200ml semi-skimmed milk
What you do:
1. Mix the matcha powder with 1 tbsp of just-boiled water to form a paste, then leave to cool.
2. Put the strawberries and sweetener in a small pan with 200ml of water. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat to medium and leave to simmer for around 5 minutes, or until the strawberries have softened. Remove from the heat and blend to a purée.
3. Pour the strawberry sauce into a tall glass, add ice cubes and the milk. Top with the matcha.

Iced vanilla matcha latte recipe

1 tsp vanilla extract
200ml semi-skimmed milk
What you do:

2. Add the vanilla extract and milk to a tall glass and stir, then add ice cubes and top with the matcha.
