At Slimming World, we’re big fans of our air fryer and we love coming up with inventive new recipes to keep it working hard, to save us time and money. These tasty margherita pizzas take just 8 minutes to cook – far speedier and healthier than ordering in! 

Margherita air fryer pizza recipe 

serves 4 
13 Syns per pizza 
ready in 20 mins 
vegetarian 

What you need: 

120g passata with onion and garlic 
4 x 60g wholemeal pitta breads 
200g mozzarella, sliced 
2 large tomatoes, sliced 
handful fresh basil, leaves picked 

What you do: 

1. Preheat your air fryer to 190°C. 

2. Assemble the pizzas by spreading the passata over the pittas and layering with slices of mozzarella and tomato. 

3. Transfer the pittas to your air fryer and cook for 8 minutes (you might need to do this in 2 batches, depending on the size of your machine). Scatter over the basil leaves, add a few twists of black pepper and serve with salad.
