You may be aware that, over the last two months, several food brands have been impacted by a potential peanut contamination in mustard ingredients, which could pose a risk to people who have a peanut allergy.

As a precaution, yesterday the Food Standards Agency, Food Standards Scotland and Food Safety Authority of Ireland applied a recall to all products containing mustard imported from a certain region, regardless of whether or not peanuts have been detected.

Because some of our Slimming World food range meals (stocked in Iceland, The Food Warehouse and Dunnes Stores) contain mustard powder, they’re being withdrawn from sale. We’re advising anyone with a peanut allergy who has bought them, not to eat them.
