Pack a lunch box with this delicious home-made houmous and your favourite finger foods to dip. You could choose crunchy veg crudités, pitta bread, cooked meats, or crackers – or even make a batch of bite-size falafels.
Raspberry oat muffins
These tasty muffins are a filling way to start race day – or to refuel afterwards. They’re really easy to make too; simply mix the ingredients in a bowl and then bake in a muffin tray.
Frozen yogurt bark
Cool down after your race with this fruity frozen treat. It’s really easy to make and completely Free on the Food Optimising plan – and if you’ve got little ones running or cheering you on, we’re sure they’d love a shard, too!
